Introductory note: Chinese Equity Markets 31. Juli 2008 "Hot money" flows but long-term potential This introductory note looks at where Chinese equities are traded. Equities have been listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen only since 1990. In 1997 China gained Hong Kong but this is a Special Administrative Region. Chinese companies list A, B, or H shares.
