| Friedrich-Wilhelm Göbel Chief Executive Officer Friedrich-Wilhelm Göbel is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of VISCARDI AG. He is responsible for all client related activities and the strategic development of VISCARDI. Prior to starting VISCARDI Friedrich-Wilhelm Göbel was a Partner at Cowen & Company (later SG Cowen) New York. He was responsible for building the European Corporate Finance practice of Cowen & Company. Before joining Cowen & Company Friedrich-Wilhelm Göbel was the Managing Director of Hypo Securities Inc., New York, the US broker dealer of Bayerische Hypotheken - und Wechsel - Bank. Prior to building and running Hypo Securities he held several positions at Hypo Bank in Germany. | Barbara Thätig Chief Operating Officer Barbara Thätig acts as Chief Operating Officer of VISCARDI since July 2007. She is responsible for Accounting/Controlling, Administration, Legal and Compliance as well as Regulatory Affairs. Mrs. Thätig joined VISCARDI AG as attorney-at-law in 2000 and was nominated General Counsel of VISCARDI in 2002. In 2005 she received a general power of attorney for VISCARDI Securities Wertpapierhandelsbank GmbH which later was merged with VISCARDI AG. Prior to VISCARDI, Ms. Thätig was head of the legal and patent department of Max-Planck-Institute of Plasma Physics, Garching, the biggest institute of Max Planck Society and one of the largest centres of fusion research in Europe. | Markus Fischer Managing Director Mr. Fischer heads the Technology team at VISCARDI. His main responsibilities include the origination and execution of merger & acquisition, private financing and equity capital markets transactions. Prior to joining VISCARDI in January 2004, Mr. Fischer worked in investment banking at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and London. He has 12 years of experience in the area of structuring and executing merger & acquisition transactions, IPO’s and secondary offerings for both German and international corporations. After his studies he worked for one year as a trainee in the corporate client sector of Deutsche Bank in Stuttgart. Mr. Fischer obtained his Diplom-Kaufmann degree with honors from the University of Regensburg. | Dr. Ron Davidson Director Dr. Davidson joined VISCARDI in September 2007. His main responsibilities include the execution of merger & acquisition transactions, private financing and equity capital markets. Prior to VISCARDI, Dr. Davidson worked in corporate finance at Ferber & Co. and KPMG as manager. He has more than 7 years of experience in the area of corporate finance including merger & acquisition transactions and valuation of companies. Before he started with KPMG Dr. Davidson was cofounder and CFO of ciando GmbH. | Dr. Liming Ge Director, Greater China Market Dr. Ge heads Viscardi's business efforts in the Greater China Market. His responsibilities include marketing, fostering and maintaining VISCARDI's client network in this region. He is also responsible for the origination and execution of various transactions (corporate restructuring, merger & acquisition, private financing, and equity capital market) in conjunction with Viscardi's sector teams. Prior to his current responsibility, Dr. Ge was a member of Viscardi's Health Care & Life Sciences team bringing his over 11 years of rich experience in this sector. Prior to joining VISCARDI, Dr. Ge was the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and a member of the Management Board of EleGene AG as well as the co-founder and Managing Director (CEO) of Xerion Pharmaceuticals AG. Dr. Ge started his career as the Senior Scientist and co-inventor of the HuCAL technology at MorphoSys AG. Dr. Ge was awarded a PhD degree in Chemistry from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and an MBA from European University, Geneva.
