VISCARDI Equity Research is the research department of VISCARDI. VISCARDI Equity Research is focused on high quality equity research for German mid cap and small cap companies, which are not adequately researched even though they might enjoy strong market positions on a European or even on a global basis. Based upon the long term experience of its analysts, VISCARDI Equity Research offers an attractive risk return profile to its investors.
Our research products range from comprehensive initiation reports between 30 to 70 pages in German and English language, in which we present a complete picture of the company, the sector and the competitive situation. We establish long term financial models and use company-specific valuation tools such as economic profit models, peer group models, discounted cash flow or dividend discount models. After initiating the research coverage, we publish updates on a regular basis after quarterly figures or similar important company news.
At the beginning of the year, we publish the annual Germany Outlook, which covers German market valuations, past performances, economics, politics and the outlook for the following year.
The focus of our research coverage lies in the sectors Technology, Health Care & Life Sciences, Real Estate & Retailing and Renewable Energy & Infrastructure. In addition, we publish research reports on promising companies from various industry sectors, if their earnings potential is not fully reflected in the share price. In identifying these companies, our analysts attend all relevant investor meetings and investment conferences such as the Deutsche Eigenkapitalforum or various small caps conferences in Frankfurt or abroad. Currently, our research coverage comprises 50 companies.
Our target function is the performance of the investor. Our analysts are in regular contact with leading institutional investors in Europe und the Americas. Our knowledge about the individual investment style and investment horizon, sector preferences and investment details are crucial for servicing the client best. Therefore, we organize analyst and management roadshows with our companies, conference calls between management and investors and act as an information processor in the financial press.
